1. Who we are
VitaFamily Health is a product of mystackmint, a solo software studio based in India. For all privacy inquiries, contact: satish.technology9@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
Account data
- Phone number (used for OTP authentication)
- Email address (optional, for Google Sign-In)
- Display name and profile photo (set by you, optional)
- Language and timezone preferences
Health data (entered by you)
- Medications, dosage schedules, and dose logs
- Medical appointments and linked doctor/hospital details
- Vital measurements (blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, oxygen saturation, etc.)
- Health record files you upload (prescriptions, lab reports, discharge summaries)
- Family member profiles you create within the app
- Caretaker assignment relationships
Technical and usage data
- Anonymised crash reports and error diagnostics (via Sentry)
- Subscription plan status and plan change history
- Security audit logs (e.g., login events, data exports, plan changes) โ retained 90 days
We do not collect advertising identifiers, location data, contact lists, microphone audio, or browsing history.
3. How we use your data
- To provide core app functionality (medications, appointments, vitals, records management)
- To send medication and appointment reminders you have explicitly enabled
- To enforce subscription plan limits and process self-serve plan changes
- To detect, diagnose, and fix bugs and crashes via anonymised error reports
- To maintain security audit logs and detect unauthorised access
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural profiling, or sale to third parties under any circumstances.
4. Data storage & security
- All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL + Object Storage), hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure
- Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.2+
- All database tables are protected by Row Level Security (RLS) โ authenticated users can only access their own family's data; RLS is enforced at the database level, independent of application code
- Uploaded files are stored in private Supabase Storage buckets โ only the uploading family can access them
- The app enforces certificate pinning (HTTPS-only with pinned certificates) to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks
- App screens are protected from device screenshots via Android FLAG_SECURE
- Sessions auto-expire after 10 minutes of inactivity, requiring re-authentication
- Biometric lock (fingerprint/face) is available as an additional layer
5. Third-party data processors
We use a minimal set of trusted sub-processors to deliver the app:
- Supabase โ database, authentication, and file storage. Processes account and health data per their Privacy Policy.
- Sentry โ anonymised crash and error reporting. No health data is sent to Sentry โ only technical stack traces.
- Google Sign-In โ optional OAuth authentication. No health data is ever shared with Google.
No health data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, analytics platforms, insurance companies, or employers.
6. Your rights โ EU/EEA residents (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of access โ request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") โ request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
- Right to data portability โ export your complete health data in machine-readable JSON format from the app's Privacy Settings โ Export Data
- Right to restriction โ ask us to pause processing while a dispute is under review
- Right to rectification โ correct inaccurate or incomplete data at any time within the app
- Right to object โ object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Right to withdraw consent โ withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

7. FTC Health Breach Notification Rule โ US residents
VitaFamily Health functions as a Personal Health Record (PHR) application as defined under the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 318.
In the event of a breach of unsecured identifiable health information affecting US residents, we will:
- Notify each affected individual within 60 days of discovering the breach
- Notify the Federal Trade Commission within the same period
- If the breach affects more than 500 residents of a US state, notify the leading media outlets of that state
Notifications will be sent to the phone number or email address associated with your account. We will describe the nature of the breach, what data was involved, what steps we have taken, and what you can do to protect yourself.
8. India โ Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA)
We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. As a Data Fiduciary, we:
- Collect only the personal data necessary to provide the service
- Process data only for the stated purposes
- Maintain reasonable security safeguards
- Enable you to withdraw consent by deleting your account (Privacy Settings โ Delete Account)

9. Data retention
- Active accounts: data retained for as long as your account remains active
- Deleted accounts: all personal and health data is permanently deleted within 30 days of a deletion request
- Security audit logs: retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted
- Anonymised crash reports: retained for up to 12 months
10. Children's privacy
VitaFamily Health accounts must be created and operated by adults (18+). Adults may create family member profiles for children within the app. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from individuals under 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data without consent, contact us immediately for removal.
11. Changes to this policy
We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using VitaFamily Health ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not download or use the App. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and mystackmint ("we", "us", "our"), based in India.
2. Account registration
You must create an account to use the App. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
- Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- Be at least 18 years old to create and operate an account
You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without their consent.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt or damage the App or its users
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the App
- Circumvent any security, authentication, or access-control feature
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the App
- Use the App in any way that could harm, overload, or impair our infrastructure
4. Health information disclaimer
We are not liable for any health outcome, adverse event, medication error, missed dose, or other consequence resulting from your use of or reliance on information stored in or generated by the App.
5. Subscription and billing
- The App offers a Free plan and two paid plans: Premium (โน199/month) and Family Pro (โน499/month)
- Paid plans are billed monthly in Indian Rupees (INR)
- You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from within the App (Settings โ Plan & Billing)
- Downgrading preserves all existing data in read-only mode; only new additions are restricted by the lower plan's limits
- In-app payment processing is planned for a future release; current plan changes are recorded in the App for reference
6. Your data
You retain full ownership of all health data and content you enter into the App. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. Our use of your data is governed solely by our Privacy Policy.
You can export all your data at any time from Privacy Settings โ Export Data, and permanently delete your account and all associated data from Privacy Settings โ Delete Account.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, source code, branding, and all content created by us are the exclusive property of mystackmint and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or trade names without prior written permission.
8. Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms. We will attempt to notify you before termination except where immediate action is required to protect users or infrastructure security.
You may terminate your account at any time from the App (Privacy Settings โ Delete Account). Upon termination, your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, mystackmint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss or corruption of health data
- Missed medication reminders or appointments
- Decisions made based on data stored in the App
- Service interruptions or unavailability
Our total aggregate liability to you for any cause of action shall not exceed the greater of (a) โน5,000 or (b) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless mystackmint and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable law, or our business practices. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice at least 7 days before the updated Terms take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and may delete your account.
13. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
